Crafting solid wood garden tables

Designed for garden homes and cottages that need a sturdy table capable of staying outdoors under a canopy. We use naturally moisture-resistant wood like larch or white oak with spaced slats for water drainage. The result is a stable table that will not blow away in the wind and lasts for years.

Questions about this service

Why does a garden table need gaps between the boards?

If the boards were glued into a single surface like an indoor table, water would collect, and the sun would cause warping and cracking. The gap allows water to run off and lets the wood expand and contract.

How often does an outdoor table need to be recoated?

Once a year, usually before the start of spring, gentle cleaning and applying a single coat of oil with a cloth is recommended. You do not need a professional for this.

Can the table stay outside over the winter?

Yes, but we recommend covering it with a ventilated tarp or placing it under a shelter so snow does not melt directly on the wood for months.

Our commitment to joint and timber quality

If wood warps or a joint loosens during the first year of use due to a kiln-drying defect, we will come and fix the table at our expense. We work solely with lumber whose moisture content we test with a meter before making the first cut. Pricing & payment

From concept to finished table in your home

  1. 1Selecting the location and wood typeWe check whether the table will sit under cover or in the open to choose the right wood species and slat spacing.
  2. 2Cutting and engineering drainage channelsWe cut the tabletop boards so water cannot pool at the joints and cause rot.
  3. 3Impregnation and coating with exterior oilFungicidal protection is applied alongside two coats of pigmented oil that shield the wood from harsh sunlight.
  4. 4Delivery and backyard placementWe set up the table on grass, pavers, or decking, equipped with feet that prevent moisture absorption from the ground.

What local clients say about our work

★★★★★
The tabletop is heavy, solid, and feels pleasant with its matte finish. The driver brought the parts into the house right on schedule, I paid cash at the door, and the cardboard packaging was completely intact.
Miloš P., Novi Sad, RS
★★★★☆
We bought the desk for my husband's home workspace because he needed a large, stable surface. The wood looks great; I only wish the oil tint tone had been a bit clearer in the photo before crafting.
Jelena V., Petrovaradin, RS
★★★★★
We also ordered a second, smaller coffee table after seeing how well the dining table handles daily meals with the kids. Support answered the phone promptly, and the payment went through via a standard bank transfer.
